April has spent the last fourteen years in the human services field giving guidance and help to those that have lost hope. She has mastered the art of setting clear and concise boundaries, establishing direct and informative plans, motivating people (and animals) to face and overcome their fears and most of all she is one of the most outstanding listeners and problem solvers you will ever meet. She is a professional at adopting difficult to place dogs and has been working diligently on her impulse control to maintain her household at two dogs, two cats and one very understanding husband. She is well versed on canine and human behavioral issues and has the life experience to understand, empathize and formulate great plans. Her heart dog and full time project dog is a beautiful black lab/newfie mix with high levels of anxiety and sensory issues. You can see her about town on any given day with Brylee by her side. She brings to the table her vast people experience, personal dog experiences and her ability to find the silver lining. April keeps the administrative wheels rolling with scheduling and problem solving.
